I am a trained DV victims' rights advocate accepted (March 2005) by a Pekin shelter for work within it, and performed volunteer work for them at Night Out Against Crime (August 2005, Mineral Springs Park, Pekin). I received a March 2005 invitation to work, also, at The Center for Prevention of Abuse at Pekin, Illinois.

I've experienced the thrills of touring the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, the St. Augustine Lighthouse, and the Ripley Museum at 19 San Marco Avenue, St. Augustine, Florida; returning won't happen soon enough to satisfy me. My kids and I watch and discuss History Channel - Monster Quest episodes (subject matter and technical aspect). I am utterly and deeply fascinated by the supernatural, paranormal, design and architechture, antiques, historical memorabilia, America's Old West, handcuffs, and other restraints.
